We don't stop rejoicing in the long ski mountaineering season. In the very last race, the most grueling of this discipline, the Mezzalama Trophy with departure from Cervinia and arrival in Gressoney la Trinitè, an exceptional Robert Antonioli excelled. Our testimonial, competing with his teammates Eydallin and Magnini (all from the C.S. Army) closed the Aosta Valley race with a time of 4 hours 55 minutes and 49 seconds. In the women's test our testimonials Giulia Murada and Giulia Compagnoni (together with De Silvestro, again for the CS Army) literally demolished the competition with the time of 6 hours and 20 minutes flat, detaching the second team that arrived by almost an hour. Also in the Mezzalama reserved for young athletes (with much shorter routes) our testimonials are highlighted. In the under 18 category, Erik Canovi (paired with Alice Maniezzo) won. Another positive note concerns Elena Nicolini who, with the 2nd place in the women's classification, won the general classification "La Grande Course" (closing long-distance race of which the Mezzalama Trophy is part).
