Versatility: this is Eagle helmet watchword. Salice Occhiali’s flagship model for ISPO 2019 is presented with its classic features, as well as in some new and modern colours. Although the most important news regarding this helmet comes with the "Cortina" version, the official helmet of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup of 2021. In short, the best consecration for the Eagle helmet and for Salice Occhiali. The partnership between Salice Occhiali and Fondazione Cortina 2021 brings the Eagle Cortina, on sale this year, in the official merchandising of the Ski World Cup. White with the profiles of the blue Cortina 2021, the special edition helmet plays even more on the combination with the colours of the Dolomites sky. The logo of the exhibition is on the removable cover, the same that is also presented on the helmet, visible when the six upper air vents are discovered. The side label Cortina 2021 with the reference to snowflakes and a blue-coloured Salice logo complete the style of an incredibly captivating helmet. This for the special edition, for the rest, Eagle is the same as ever: modern and designed by Salice Occhiali thinking of those who love to face winter sports on the snow, in all its forms, from alpine skiing to snowboarding and freestyle. Eagle adapts perfectly to all weather conditions and use: it is characterized by a super compact design and incredible lightness. Eagle salient features are obtained thanks to the moulding construction: the inner shell is in EPS co-moulded to the external polycarbonate shell. Beyond its lightness, the Eagle helmet is characterized by the new highly evolved ventilation system, which Salice Occhiali has studied and developed. In fact, the ventilation is "adaptable", thanks to the removable cover that hide or discovers the 6 central air vents out of the 10 available in total. The innovative system thus allows various types of ventilation to be used depending on the weather conditions and the outside temperature. The Eagle air vents ensure constant ventilation inside the shell; the two front slits on the helmet ring also allow that part of the air is directed to the ski goggles, avoiding annoying fogging. Another feature is the cover magnetic locking / unlocking system that makes it easy to put on and remove the cover. Finally, thanks to the laces magnetic closure system, it will be sufficient to bring the two laces edges closer together so that, with a simple click, the helmet closes. The opening is as simple as the closing and it is done by horizontally moving one of the two edges. The helmet is approved with European certification EN 1077: 2007 class B and American certification ASTM F2040-2011. Eagle’s comfort comes also from the removable and washable hypoallergenic and antibacterial padding, as well as the anatomical ear pads which are also easily removable. In this regard, Salice has worked a lot on details such as the soft velvet interior. From the comfort to the aesthetics the step is short: the ring in TPU material, by the ear pads perforated area, guarantees excellent auditory perception and its colour is tone-on-tone with the helmet ring. This increases the appeal of the Eagle, creating a captivating contrast of colours. Staying on the aesthetics it must be said that the helmet is available in 10 different colours, in addition to the 2 classic and captivating Italian versions, in black and white. Salice graphics have worked hard putting in place all their creativity to propose for the 2019 collection colours of great aesthetic impact. The difference in style is the contrasting combination of two elements: the helmet, on the one hand, and the removable cover, one the other. All colours combinations are well suited to fit Salice goggles. In particular, 6 gradations were provided for a male/unisex public and 4 for women. As for unisex colour combinations, the most successful colours are black-yellow, black-red, and white-black. The new colours collections are the light blue-lime and black-lime. The colour combinations dedicated to female customers range from onyx, silver, pink and a modified gold version compared to last year's version sold by a white cover. As for the sizes: Eagle is available in two sizes, with size adjuster XS: 52-56 cm (330 grams), and XL: 56-61 cm (360 grams). Naturally the helmet is ideal to be worn with goggles fixed by the practical rear hooking system. Finally two notes on the Eagle-B, equal in design to the twin from which it differs only for the fixed cover (with air vents for ventilation) in the central section.
